Current Core Partners
GoldPoint Partners has achieved strong investment performance through our Core Partner Strategy: identifying and investing in top performing sponsors and then becoming their trusted partner for equity co-investments and private debt investments.
Our Core Partners include approximately 60 private equity fund sponsors who share our investment philosophy and who seek to strengthen the relationship through equity co-investment and private debt opportunities. Over the past 30 years we have committed approximately $18.7 billion to over 450 U.S. and European private equity funds and completed over 200 equity co-investments and over 150 private debt investments alongside these sponsors.
We believe that GoldPoint Partners' Core Partner Strategy allows us to create a differentiated process to private equity investing. Our objective is to identify top performing financial sponsors with demonstrated expertise within a target area of investing and a definable value-added approach to their portfolio companies.
We continuously and vigorously research and review a wide spectrum of sponsors, and this proactive method has led to our early identification of many leading private equity firms over the past 30 years. Our strategy is intended to create both strong investment returns with respect to our limited partnership investments, and a source of high quality, proprietary deal flow for the equity co-investment and private debt businesses. In addition, this partnership focused method of investing has enabled us to be represented on a significant number of the Core Partners' advisory boards.
